Some reading material will be distributed well in advance of the course dates with the expectation that the material will be reviewed prior to arrival. A five-day course with one day in the classroom and four days in the field visiting and studying drained and un-drained wetlands throughout Eastern Ontario so due to a considerable amount of time spent outdoors throughout the week, rubber boots are recommended. Course runs rain or shine so appropriate adaptable clothing is required and to be prepared for bus travel. It is recommended that all participants have access to a laptop with Microsoft Office software during the course.
